Where all the fun stuff happens
Here at Southtown Web Design, we’ve put together our website process to give a clear understanding of what really goes on and what’s expected during a website build.
The Discovery
First I make sure that I have everything I need to get started on the project. This includes the domain & hosting details as well as all the content to be used. If you don't have a domain purchased or what hosting provider you'll be using, we provide quality website care plans to handle everything for you.
The Sitemap
After the initial contact and I've got all the information needed. I'll create a visual sitemap so that we are all on the same page and can communicate the best way to structure your site.
The Prototype
Instead of trying to tell you how your website is going to look. I'm going to build an interactive prototype in the browser to show you how my solution will work. With little attention to detail and not very attractive at this phase, but it gets us to where we want to be quicker. Here's a recent prototype I designed.
The Design
This is where the fun starts to happen. I start to add images, implement your color scheme/typography & turn your beautiful prototype into a fully working website. See the same website fully designed.
The Launch
Here's where I go into hibernation for a few days to make sure everything is tested again and again before uploading your shiny new website for the world to see.
