Home Builder website design brief
When I first spoke with Mr. Collier, he had a website built using a hosting providers page builder that a family member put together for him.
Most people are looking for a quality website design at a fraction of the cost. The price tag is enticing, but in the end you will be spending more in the long run having it re-designed.
The problem was that his current site didn’t show the type of services he provided for his clients. The quality craftsmanship that he puts into his work that speaks volumes, doesn’t show the same quality with his website. So, what better way for a custom home builder to have a custom home builder website design to show more business credibility.
My Approach
I wanted to clean up the site and build a design that uses some of the elements that go into a custom home build. Throughout the site you can see textures of concrete and wood panels.
The previous site was a bit cluttered and compacted together and decided to open up the new website redesign with full width sections and a transparent navigation throughout.
One of the most important things was to showcase his quality craftsmanship that he is able to provide to his clients and future prospects.
The Result
All in all I love the way the design came out! One thing that Mr. Collier was on the fence about was whether or not to perfom seo services in order to drive more traffic to the site. Which is a great way to build your online visibility and get found easier online.
